Established in 1960, Kuwait National Petroleum Company\u00a0(KNPC) is the fully owned Oil Refining Company of Kuwait. KNPC handles the responsibility of oil refining<\/a>,\u00a0gas liquefaction<\/a>, and distribution of petroleum products within Kuwait. KNPC is also handling the Clean Fuel Project (CFP).<\/p>\n

Kuwait National Petroleum Company\u00a0(KNPC) is providing Vendors and Contractors with a powerful yet easy-to-use portal to prepare and submit an On-line application for Registration with KNPC to explore more business opportunities. Registering with KNPC eSourcing portal is the first step to be considered for participating in tendering exercises easily and systematically.<\/p>\n

This blog serves as a step-by-step guide for the Registration & Authentication Process as a Vendor and Contractor with <\/strong>KNPC<\/strong><\/a> (Kuwait National Petroleum Company).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step by Step Guide on How to Register as a Supplier with Kuwait National Petroleum Company\u00a0(KNPC)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1- <\/strong>Go to the official eSourcing website of KNPC<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 2- <\/strong>Click on the \u201cSupplier Registration\u201d\u2019 button found in the bottom left-hand side of your screen. (as highlighted yellow in the above picture)<\/p>\n

Step 3-<\/strong> Post Clicking, you will be redirected to a new page. Read the information carefully presented here to understand the documentation requirements<\/p>\n

Step 4-<\/strong> Then proceed with the Registration Process by clicking on the \u201cSupplier Registration\u201d link given at the end of the page.<\/p>\n

Step 5-<\/strong> Fill the Registration Form and please see to it that you don\u2019t miss out filing information in the fields that marked with a red asterisk (*) since they are mandatory to move on.<\/p>\n

Step 6-<\/strong> Once you have successfully saved and submitted the form, you will be asked to fill and submit the \u201cSupplier Authentication\u201d Form. Here also, you need to fill at least all the mandatory fields for KNPC to start the authentication process of your company.\"\"<\/p>\n

Please note the Authentication process may differ for local and foreign suppliers.<\/p>\n

Step 7-<\/strong> Once you fill the Supplier Authentication Form, click \u2018Save and Exit\u2019.\u00a0 Post this, you will be successfully registered as a Supplier\/ Vendor on the KNPC eSourcing portal.<\/p>\n

Step 8-<\/strong> You will receive an email stating your Username (created by you) and a temporary password (automatically generated).<\/p>\n

Step 9:<\/strong> Once you successfully get authenticated by KNPC, you will be given full access to the website to participate in Tenders.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: It is necessary to get authenticated by KNPC to gain access to the eSourcing website. Until then, you will be given access only to the Supplier Authentication Form.<\/p>\n

Also note, the suppliers that fail in the authentication process within 6 months of Registration will have their accounts terminated.<\/p>\n
