A bar is a piece of metal that is stretched out in different shapes and sizes as per the requirements. Bars come in so many shapes such as rectangular, round, hexagonal, octagonal, square, angles, etc. They are suitable for industrial applications and are widely used in concrete construction areas. Steel bars are perfect for construction purposes. There are different types of steel bars such as Mild Steel Bar, High Yield Strength Deformed bar, Thermo Mechanically Treated bar, TMX bar, Super Ductile bar, etc. A mild steel bar is used for special purposes such as expansion joint, contraction joint, runway, spirals, etc. This bar can be cut easily and bent without causing any damage. The HYSD bar provides a better grip due to the ribs on it. It has satisfactory malleability and great tensile strength. TMT bar is used mostly in modern days because it has high yield strength, high earthquake, and corrosion resistance and it is economically safe. TMX has better elongation and ductility. It has more ribs which provide better grip and longer life. SD bar offers more energy absorption capacity and high evacuation time in case of earthquakes.
