The Masters of Clinical Psychology at Cairnmillar Institute is a highly respected program that prepares graduates to help people as a registered clinical psychologist. Through courses in psychological assessment, diagnosis, formulation and psychotherapeutic interventions across the lifespan, students gain a strong foundation in clinical practice. Students also benefit from over 1,000 hours of supervised placement experience working directly with clients. Upon graduation, students are eligible for general registration as a psychologist and can enter a 2-year clinical psychology registrar program to gain full endorsement and national practice rights as a clinical psychologist.
