HUBEI XINYEGANG STEEL LTD. (Xinyegang) is one of the oldest steel companies in China, its predecessor--Daye Iron & Steel Plant is an important part of Hanyeping Coal, Iron, factories & mines Co. Ltd. in the late Qing dynasty, has a long history, known as China's "Steel Cradle". Named in 1948 Central Iron & Steel Company, renamed in 1953 Daye Steel Works, established in 1993 Daye Special Steel Co., Ltd., restructured in 1994 into Daye Steel Group Corporation, Daye Special Steel stock A listed in 1997 in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, CITIC Pacific in Hong Kong funded the acquisition in 2004 of Daye Steel Group Corporation Steel core business assets to form HUBEI XINYEGANG STEEL LTD..
