We use a wide variety of treatment techniques, the most common of which are cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing- EMDR (trauma-informed therapy). Our area of specialty is assisting people who have been through traumatic circumstances, and we have a proven track record of providing the highest possible level of care (ie. veterans).

In addition to assisting those who have been in pain for an extended period of time or who have been afflicted with chronic illness, the physicians at McDowall Integrative Psychology & Healthcare have vast experience working with people who have been injured in automobile collisions. There is not a single one of our psychologists who does not possess both a high level of education and an extraordinary amount of experience in their particular field. We are available to assist you in person as well as through the internet (video counseling).
