Mengi Hi-Tech Ltd. was incorporated under the company act on 14.12.1995 with an object of setting up business of Power Transmission lines , Sub-Stations, Telecom Towers, Steel bridges, Steel tubular poles, cable trays etc. •The Company set up 12000 MT capacity plant in 4 acres plot in SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, Jammu, J&K . The plant has complete range of latest sophisticated machinery and equipment. The Works has state of art Hot Dip Galvanizing plant with Bath size of 8m x 0.8m x 1.2 m .All the shops are equipped with EOT cranes The company fabricated, galvanized and supplied transmission line towers and sub-station structures up to 400 KV capacity to ALSTOM and IRCON for PGCIL, BHEL, PSEB and Power Development Department, Jammu and Kashmir. The company also designed ,fabricated , supplied and erected Telecom Towers upto 122 m height to ITI Ltd. for their ASCON-III project of defence, AIRTEL, Ericsson for AIRCEL and BSNL. The company also took up ETC work of 132 KV Switch Yard of SEWA HE Project and also executing ETC work of CHUTAK HE project in Kargil, J&K. The company is regularly manufacturing and supplying steel tubular poles. In 2009, the name of the company was changed to Mengi Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd. In 2010, the company took over its sister concern M/s Mengi Engineering Company. ,Gangyal, Jammu with all the assets, interest , liabilities, experiences, advantages, goodwill, license, privileges and obligations of the company. The company has vast experience in design and construction of steel bridges and steel structures.The company has constructed more than 40 steel bridges which include 2 Nos. 105 meters span bridges over river Chenab in J&K , 90 meter span bridge over river Pinder at Karan Paryag in Uttrakhand for Border Road Organisation.
