Sheldon Greene began his career early. He is the author of seven critically acclaimed novels and publications in academic journals. At the age of 23, he was appointed Warden of Insurance of the State of Ohio. As a public interest lawyer, Greene worked on groundbreaking issues literally decades before they gained national attention, including our public land policies, renewable energy, the effects of illegal immigration on the economy, and our dysfunctional health delivery system.
Greene was a member of the first Obama national policy teams for immigration and energy. He was a co-founder of the New Israel Fund and contributed to its unusual structure, based on his previous expertise as General Counsel of California Rural Legal Assistance. He is an executive at a wind energy development company and has been involved in renewable energy for more than 25 years. He previously served on the board of the Great Lakes Energy Institute at Case Western Reserve University. He calls for the development of a God notion formed from the life process, free of archaic anthropomorphic traits. He has created personal standards for a healthy, seamless life that includes spiritual, intellectual, social, and creative aspects.
