Established in 1973, ACPL is the first and the largest dedicated Instrumentation Cable manufacturing company in India. We also manufacture Control Cables, Thermocouple Cables & Special Application Cables.The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located at Chiplun in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, and the company is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 accredited by TUV-SUD.

ACPL is now part of the Prysmian Group, subsequent to the acquisition of Draka by Prysmian in Feb 2011. Prysmian is the world's largest cable group with a turnover of Euro 6.84 Billion in the year 2014 and has 89 plants in 50 countries worldwide.

ACPL is professionally managed by a Director & CEO with Board representation that includes Directors from Prysmian and Oman Cables of Muscat. As part of the Prysmian Group ACPL has access to technology and wide variety of cables solutions and is able to deliver quality cables to meet the requirement of varied customers.

ACPL exports over 50% of its sales turnover and has been accorded the status of “Star Export House” by Director General of Foreign Trade”.

HISTORY

ACPL has since July 1973, grown as a dedicated Instrumentation and Specialty cable manufacturer in India.

The innovative excellence of Associated Cables was proved in the year 1975, when it developed Screened Instrumentation cables, for the first offshore oil rig of Government of India. The progress graph of the company scaled new heights thereafter, and ACPL started supplying cables for the Process Control & Instrumentation needs of Refineries & Fertilizer plants. ACPL is humbly proud of the fact that these cables are in effective use in all major Petrochemical plants, Cement plants, Chemical plants etc. which were established during this period.
