Power Line Diagnostic System
Overhead Power Line Diagnostics System (PLDS) is designed to remotely monitor the state of the wire without need for on-site visits by service personnel, and it signals the possibility of emergency situations in the early stages.
The system tracks the following parameters:
- wire operating parameters: temperature, current, sag angle, vibration amplitude and frequency;
- the occurrance, magnitude, and direction of short circuit current (with event oscillogram capture);
- ice load with weight display in kg;wire sag in meters (over roads, crossing, water bodies, etc.);
- wire break within the anchor section;
- wind loads on the wire, conductor galloping;
- detection of short circuit;
- prevention of wire breakage due to ice deposit formation;
- DLR;
- control of wire temperature, sag angle and distance between wire and obstacle.
BENEFITS:
- Reduction of time for indication of events;
- Reduction of time for finding of place of incident happened;
- Reduction of time for repair;
- Reduction of downtime;
- Reduction of cost of repair and downtime charges.
Customers:
- Electricity transmission and distribution operators (state and private)
- Industrial energy consumers with own OHL;
- Smart city/renewable energy projects.
ServiceEnergy Ltd offers FREE INDUSTRIAL TRIAL FOR POWER GRID COMPANIES!
To demonstrate the systems’ effectiveness, we offer:
- Free trial installation on a selected power line (including full technical support);
- Comprehensive analytics via web interface and Telegram alerts;
- Regulatory support.
