Wear Resistant Skirt Rubber

Description

They are designed to enlarge the loading chute function. They adapt perfectly as an extension of the loading chute and they continue doing the work avoiding spillages of material at the sides. The rubber skirts placed along the frame of galvanized metal sheets are in permanent and direct contact with the belt being water and dust tight. They are also placed as reception chutes when in the same conveyor is necessary to have intermediate feeding points. This skirt offers a dual sealing solution for your conveyor. The main body of the skirt is manufactured from rubber, which offers the primary sealing surface. The rubber body is adjusted against the belt as with traditional rubber skirt. A flexible rubber strip with polyurethane wear rail at its end and is moulded to the side of the main body and contacts the belt. This is the secondary sealing surface. By utilizing the low cost rubber in the body and high performance polyurethane in the second sealing surface only, cost is minimized
